왜 책을 쓰는가에 관하여

 

책을 쓰는 일은 무척이나 멋진 여행과도 같다. 한줄을 쓰기 위해 열줄이나 백줄을 읽고 곱씹어 생각하며 탐험하게 하기 때문이다. AI툴로 가볍게 찍어내서 원고를 마칠수도 있고 또 그것으로 흥행까지도 가능한 시대이지만, 한 줄 한 줄 안에 무엇을 어떻게 담을 것인지, 자신을 포함한 어떤 독자에게 어떤 가치를 줄 것인지를 생각하는 과정은 결과와는 무관하게 그 자체가 쓰는 이에게 엄청난 유희이다
